WHO
The World Health Organization meets to establish global health policy and to respond to international health crises. Topic A will examine antimicrobial resistance and its effects on member states. Delegates will debate how to reduce the abuse of antibiotics, the necessary policies to fund action against antimicrobial resistance, and determine WHO’s role in coordinating global responses. Topic B will examine the mental health crisis. Delegates will debate universal standards for mental health, the creation of mental health infrastructure and its funding, and necessary action to reach medically underserved regions.
