Esteemed delegates and faculty advisors,

It is my greatest honor to welcome you to the very first session of WHITMUNC, Walt Whitman High School's Model United Nations conference, set to take place on November 20-21, 2026, at our campus in Bethesda, Maryland.

My name is Isaac Albert. I'm a senior at Walt Whitman High School, eagerly serving as your Secretary-General for WHITMUNC I. I've been a part of Model UN since my sophomore year, having leadership roles for the past two years and currently serving as the Co-President of Whitman's Model UN team. During my time in WHITUN, I've had the opportunity to attend many conferences, earn awards, and grow both as a delegate and as a person. Model UN has taught me valuable lessons on how to collaborate, problem-solve, to speak with confidence and lead with conviction.

I’m so excited to present for the incoming delegates experiences that inform them on today’s most pressing topics. With four engaging committees planned, WHITMUNC I will provide a space for delegates to debate global issues, develop creative solutions, and sharpen their diplomatic skills. I believe delegates stepping up and finding their inner diplomat are quintessential MUN milestones, and I can't wait to see that happen!

Our Secretariat and school administration have worked hard to bring this vision to life, and we are so proud to invite you to be a part of it. Even if this is your first Model UN conference, WHITMUNC is a place for everyone to find their voice.
