In this single GA committee delegates will explore how to resolve foreign election interference in Latin America and Africa. Delegates will have to navigate the line between legitimate engagement (e.g., election monitoring) and illegitimate interference, addressing cybersecurity and misinformation, and determining the appropriate role of the UN and DISEC in setting international norms and enforcing responses.
